Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, this position is responsible for receiving delivery associates back into the warehouse, processing paperwork and customer returns.

· Ensure customer credits are coded correctly.

· Verify and ensure all returned product is scanned and returned to stock daily.

· Communicate with various departments (Transportation, Warehouse, Credit, Inventory/QA) to ensure proper procedures and policies are being adhered to.

· Ensure all route bags are sorted daily and all the driver’s paperwork is verified for accuracy and completeness.

· Inspect all items upon return to insure the items are compliant following our corporate driven food safety guidelines and credit returns policies.

· Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.

· Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.

· Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • Inventory control: 1 year (preferred)
