Location: Ingersoll, ON Department: Warehouse Reports To: Operations Support Manager
Your Role: Maintain accurate inventory in the warehouse management systems. Execute daily INVENTORY CONTROL functions, as well as improve various processes that ultimately lead to reduction of loss gain expense.
- Review and research any product quantity discrepancies
- Cycle count slots
- Make appropriate inventory adjustments
- Review other assigned discrepancies
- Administers training on clerk functions, as needed
- Works with the INVENTORY CONTROL team to understand inventory loss/gain results
- Process, research returned and misplaced cases in the warehouse
- Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.
Role Specifics:
- Verification of product in slot and lost and found area within the warehouse
- Warehouse environment with temperature extremes varying from high heat/humidity to below zero which requires also standing/walking on concrete.
We Need You To Have:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
- Proficient math skills
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft programs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
We’d Like You To Have:
- Experience in Accounting, Warehouse or Inventory Control departments
- Good working knowledge and understanding of AS400 and warehouse management systems.
