Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time Inventory Control Specialist with 2 years of related experience for our client in Markham, ON. MUST be detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft programs and very organized. The key responsibilities include managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, performing inventory counts, ensuring efficient inventory management processes and purchasing. Pay Rate: $26.00/hour (based on experience)
Location: Markham, ON
Shift: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Responsibilities:
Responsible for all inventory – ie keeping count of all items coming and going from the stock room
Letting purchasing know what needs to be ordered and when
Placing purchase orders, if purchasing requires support
Following up with the supplier to ensure the PO is shipping on time
Working with purchasing to see the best places to purchase the item
Keeping the stock room organized
implementing/maintaining an inventory system.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must haveat east 2 years of proven experience in Inventory Control, warehouse operations, or related roles.
Great communication skills
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
