Overview:
The Inventory/receiving Clerk is responsible for the safe and accurate receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of all. inventory in the warehouse. This includes tracking incoming and outgoing stock, reconciling discrepancies, daily cycle counts, adjusting stock counts, and maintaining accurate records. The Inventory Control Clerk must be highly organized and detail-oriented, as accuracy and timeliness are essential.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
Role
Responsible for tracking and maintaining the inventory of any physical goods that come into or go out from your business. They ensure each item has an accurate count and check if anything is missing/damaged on arrival.
Responsibilities
* Monitor inventory levels of stock, supplies, and other merchandise.
- Receive and store incoming products and reconcile with purchase orders.
- Count and update existing stock and adjust stock levels as needed.
- Prepare and monitor reports on inventory levels, trends, and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
- Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
- Follow all safety regulations and warehouse protocols.
Core Competencies
o Inventory Clerks are methodical, detail-oriented, and trustworthy. They know how to concentrate on specific tasks and identify issues with inventory as they arise.
o Inventory Clerks must be proficient with inventory control software and able to multitask. If there are problems with the inventory, they should be able to find solutions quickly and know when to escalate issues to a supervisor.
Position Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in inventory control or related field.
· Familiarity with inventory management systems and methods.
· Previous experience doing cycle counts.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Able to work independently and accurately.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry.
· Manufacturing background preferred.
· Forklift operator certification preferred.

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
