Looking to hire : Part-time Invoice Clerk
Primary responsibility: invoicing
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Invoice Processing:
- Generate invoices based on attorney time entries and client billing arrangements.
- Review and verify accuracy of billing information, including rates, hours worked, and disbursements.
- Coordinate with attorneys to resolve any billing discrepancies or missing information.
2. Billing Administration:
-- Track and monitor the status of invoices, ensuring timely submission and follow-up on outstanding payments, including sending reminders
3. Client Communication and Support:
- Interact with clients regarding billing inquiries, and requests for additional information.
- Provide excellent customer service.
4. Financial Reporting and Analysis (if candidate is qualified or can learn these tasks)
- Assist in financial data entry and reconciliation processes.
- Generating financial reports and analysis related to billing and accounts receivable.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
5. Systems and Technology:
- Utilize billing software to process invoices, record payments, and generate reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
- DEC diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting is a plus.
- Experience in billing is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and invoice processing.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to work independently.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for client interaction.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook, Excel is a plus).
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
