Irrigation and Landscape Lighting Technician

Mountain Home Services (MHS) is a growing year-round residential and commercial property maintenance service provider. We are looking to focus on growing our employees careers and wellbeing while we grow the business in landscape maintenance, irrigation, landscape installation, commercial cleaning and snow removal. Previous Irrigation, plumbing, electrical or like experience preferred, but not required.

Hiring for Mon-Fri crew. 40h/week.

Hourly Wage: $25.00 - $35.00 to start (Negotiable based on experience.)

Responsibilities:

-Critical thinking skills are a key requirement. You must love problem solving and be excited about the next challenge every time you arrive on a client site.

-Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems, including seasonal activation and deactivation.

- Install and maintain low voltage Landscape Lighting systems with attention to detail and safety.

- Handle PVC and Poly piping systems, electrical control valves, wiring, and irrigation controllers.

- Collaborate with fellow technicians to ensure successful project outcomes.

- Provide exemplary customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor with clients.

- Operate with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

- Conduct trenching and excavation using appropriate equipment for efficient and effective landscape preparation.

- Possess and maintain a Class Five Driver's License.

Qualifications:

- Thorough knowledge of irrigation systems and components.

- Proven experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems.

- Familiarity with low voltage lighting systems and possession of relevant certifications.

- Experience in the installation and maintenance of Landscape Lighting systems.

- Diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.

- Strong work ethic, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.

- Ability to perform heavy manual work in various weather conditions.

- Possession of a valid Class Five Driver's License.

- Industry certification (iiabc) is an asset, but not required.
