Irrigation Technician

Reale Landscape Inc is a family business located in Kelowna with operations since 2021 and is looking for the right candidate to join the Irrigation technician position. A valid driver license is required as the candidate will be driving our company van during the day from a job site to another. We contracts small and medium strata complexes plus individual homes plus other commercial properties in Kelowna and West Kelowna. As well we provide new irrigation installations with our construction division which includes residential and commercial properties. The right candidate that will fill this position will get a signing bonus of $500 in cash after 3 months of employment.

Start time will be middle/late March

A valid Driver License is required

Responsabilities:

• Spring start ups for residential and commercial properties
• Install and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties
• Dig trenches and build irrigation lines according to design specifications
• Use machineries as mini excavator or trencher, power tools and hand tools to excavate and install irrigation components
• Test and adjust irrigation systems to ensure proper functioning
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues
• Perform regular maintenance on irrigation systems, including cleaning filters and replacing damaged parts
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance team to ensure proper watering of plants, gardens and lawns.

Requirments:

• Previous experience in irrigation installation and maintenance preferred (2 years minimum)
• Knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in irrigation work
• Ability to dig trenches, build irrigation lines, and operate power tools safely
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and garden care
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• New installations from scratch
