We are looking for a IT Compliance Analyst to join BrokerLink and work out of one of our offices in Ontario, Alberta, or Atlantic on a Permanent FT Basis.

What the Role Entails:

• Reviews technology operational policies and procedures according to regulatory requirements.
• Executes an audit and ensures that operational procedures are following existing policies. Assesses compliance with information technology controls by executing audit plan steps within Tech related work processes, examining, and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
• Communicates audit progress to management on regular basis.
• Prepare audit reports of findings and recommendations to management: Develops insightful audit reports that provide fair and balanced assessment of governance, risk, and control processes, with detailing recommendations to strengthen and improve the control environment. Reports on audits to provide clear and concise insights on issues and potential issues to assist management in in fulfilling mandates.
• Based on audit findings - coordinates, and reports all corrective actions taken to resolve an audit finding and tracks the status of corrective actions.
• After audits are completed, coordinates and tracks efforts to create and maintain processes to carry forward the improvements to support continuous process improvement in affected areas.
• Ensures that audit files are reviewed and stored in the department’s audit repository.

The Successful candidate will have:

• University/College Degree in Computer science, Information technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in related field
• Strong technical skills in understanding the IT
• Strong attention to details
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Excellent written and communication skills
