Description:
Our client, a non-profit organization in Quebec, is seeking a Bilingual IT Governance and Policy Specialist to assist with updating their current policies. The successful candidate will also provide guidance to senior management regarding IT governance, risk, and compliance issues, to support executive decision making. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing IT governance frameworks, policies, and standards that align with strategic objectives and comply with relevant regulations in Quebec. Candidate must be fluent in French, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:

-Develop, review, and update IT governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures that are consistent with the organization’s values, culture, and risk appetite.
-Provide expert advice and recommendations to senior management and executives on IT governance, risk, and compliance matters, and support executive decision making.
-Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards in Quebec.
Requirements:

-Minimum 5 years of experience in creating IT governance frameworks, risk, and compliance, or a similar role.
-Advanced understanding of IT governance frameworks and standards.
-Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
-Fluency in French (Quebec), both written and verbal.
-Familiarity with requirements as they relate to Quebec, Canada.
-Experience working in a non-profit is considered an asset.
-Must be eligible to work in Canada.
