Janitorial Lead Cleaner (Midnights)

· Minimum of 1 year janitorial or cleaning experience required

· Supervisory experience considered an asset

· Able to motivate and train new team members

· Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills

· Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, and self-motivation

· Must be flexible to work all shifts days, afternoons, and midnights including weekends

· Must be detailed oriented

· Ability to multi-task in a timely manner

· Computer literate

· Familiarity and experience with the operation of floor polishing and carpet cleaning machines is required

· Experience in stripping, buffing, and waxing floors is required

The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for assisting the Janitorial Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Midnight shift. Under the direction and assistance of the Janitorial Manager, the Janitorial Lead will be responsible for ensuring all processes are efficiently completed by conducting work inspections and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities with the Janitorial Manager. Additional duties will include regular cleaning of assigned areas, daily communication with the Janitorial Manager on the status of the department to ensure consistency and to ensure all departmental goals and objectives are successfully being carried out and executed, along with supporting the Janitorial Manager on all initiatives such as departmental meetings and training programs.
