Janitorial Supervisor / Part Time / Chilliwack

We are looking for the right person to join our team of supervisors in a part-time position for the Chilliwack and Agassiz areas. In this position you will be supporting our team of janitorial cleaners by providing training, on site visits and supporting them as needed.
SHIFTS

• 5 to 6 hours per shift, 3 to 4 shifts per week
• Wednesday, Thursday and one weekend shift will be required
• Evenings on weeknights, days/evenings on weekends

Responsibilities and Duties

• Training and supervising of janitorial cleaning staff
• Providing quality control inspections of buildings
• Delivering of some supplies when required
• Emergency fill in of cleaning accounts when needed
• Ensuring information of accounts is kept updated
• Relationship building with janitorial cleaning staff
• Providing support to staff when needed

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience is an asset
• Ability to lead others and be an example
• Communicate in English both written and verbally
• Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
• Works well both independently and in a team environment
• Available for days listed, and flexible for additional days
• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is required
