The Agency is located 90 minutes northeast of Regina, or 90 minutes northwest of Fort QuAppelle.
Nestled in the Touchwood Hills beside the Punnichy golf course. The agency services the First Nation bands of the area. With citizens located on our Nations and in the surrounding communities of Lestock, Wynyard, Punnichy, Quinton, and Raymore.
One of the agency goals is to support our member Nations and their citizens to live lived of health and happiness.
With that as one of our overall goals we are seeking a skilled and passionate person to assume the role of Jordan Principal Intake Officer. This individual will be under the direction of the Jordan Principal Coordinator.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Work with and support the Jordans Principal Coordinator to assist Nation members with application submission.
- First point of contact for member Nations assistance requests.
- Work with our member First Nations communities, families, youth, and children.
- Verify eligibility of child prior to approving funds.
- Assist families to access available support in their communities.
-Services or support are in the best interest of the child.
- Maintain case files for each child/family.
Desired Qualification:
- Certificate in Office Administration with 3+ years working in First Nation communities in delivery of supports.
- Secondary School certificate with 5+ years experience working in First Nation communities in delivery of supports.
- Demonstrate ability to record keeping, data collection, and reporting on program outcomes.
- Highly developed communication skills and organization; attention to detail.
This position may require travel to our member First Nations so a valid Saskatchewan Drivers license with assess to a reliable vehicle is requires.
