Noelle Heating & Cooling Ltd., is a locally owned company in the Okanagan Valley offering HVAC installation services. We are Red Seal and TECA Certified and specialize in designing and installing high-quality heating and cooling systems in residential new construction, renovations, and light-commercial projects.

We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Install and supervise the installation of HVAC systems in residential and/or light commercial new construction and renovation job sites
• Oversee Sheet Metal Worker Apprentices and assist in their training
• Oversee a small crew on job sites, and perform quality control inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications while achieving time-management goals
• Occasionally assist in designing HVAC and ductwork systems for new construction and/or renovations, which includes creating duct layouts and 'as-built' designs for clients on PDF pro software (provided)
• Occasionally assist in gathering information for quotes on HVAC projects
• Attend site meetings with clients or general contractors during the planning process of work to be completed
• Ensure material take-offs are completed on each project, and that detailed tracking of each project is recorded in the company's job program software
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills & Experience:

• Red Seal Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the trade (required)
• Valid Driver's License (required)
• Preference may be given to those who have completed any of the following TECA courses: Ventilation Guidelines, Forced Air Guidelines, Principles of Moving Air, Heat Recovery Design & Installation, Heat Loss & Heat Gain
• Has experience managing job sites, while overseeing and training apprentices under your supervision
• Can thrive working in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, efficient, and can problem solve effectively
• Has strong verbal and written communication skills
• Has strong organizational skills
• Works well in a team setting
• Experience in service work would be an asset
