Position Overview:
Join the Finning family! Finning Canada is seeking a Parts Journeyperson supporting our client Coalspur Mines in the Hinton, Alberta area on a 7x7 Continuous Shift. This position is responsible for On-Site Parts Coordination related to customer equipment maintenance and repairs.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual and a team player with highly developed organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description:
  • On-Site Parts Coordination related to customer equipment maintenance, and repairs.
  • Prepare for, and attend daily customer scheduling SIC meetings, communicating estimated delivery dates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate shipping options and freight estimates to the customer and Service Operations team.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Coordination of Component Core and parts returns.
  • Maintain consignment inventories.
  • Manufacture of hydraulic hoses.
Qualifications:
  • Journeyperson parts certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, Shop Parts and Caterpillar product knowledge.
  • A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships.
  • Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment.
  • This self-motivated individual will be a team player with highly developed organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
  • Experience with SIS, Lawson M3, and the MS Office Package will be considered assets.
  • A valid drivers license with clean abstract.

  • Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
  • Candidate selection will be in compliance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
