Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Journeyperson Plumber/Pipefitter is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for a variety of facilities and systems at our Coal Mountain Operations. This is a full-time hourly position that offers an attractive 5x 2 schedule of day shifts only with every other Friday off, allowing for plenty of work-life balance.

Wage Range: $90,000 - $94,000
Base earnings include the hourly wage and will differ depending on location. It is calculated using a reasonably expected number of hours worked per year.
Responsibilities:
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Operate and maintain the sites Sewage Treatment Plant and Potable Water System
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for a variety of other facilities throughout the entire site
- Proactive diagnosis of facilities deficiencies and supporting the coordination of those facility maintenance requirements through the maintenance supervisor
Qualifications:
- Valid Inter Provincial Red Seal Plumber
- Experience working in an industrial maintenance site
- Valid driver's license
- Currently has or willing to obtain a Small Water System and Small Waste Water Treatment certification, this training opportunity would be provided by Teck
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems is considered an asset
- General knowledge of other skillsets consisting of electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and welding is considered an asset
