Responsibilities:
- Install plumbing systems, equipment and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing/HVAC systems
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as sheet metal, fire protection and control subcontractors, to complete projects
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings
- Test piping systems for leaks using air pressure gauges and water pressure gauges
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify and address potential issues
- Collaborate with the general contractor to understand their plumbing needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Adhere to all safety regulations and plumbing codes
Qualifications:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including pipe materials, fittings, and fixtures
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Experience in hydronic heating and cooling work is a plus
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for plumbing installations and repairs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for plumbing installations
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths, angles, and dimensions

Salary: $40.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
