Junior Accountant (Accounts Receivable, Payables, Payroll, And Billing)

Position Overview: We are in search of a meticulous Junior Accountant to oversee Accounts Receivable, accounts payables, payroll, and Billing functions for Miramichi Honda and its affiliated companies. This position presents an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong accounting background to gain invaluable experience across various industries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, billing, and collections, ensuring accuracy and promptness.
• Handle accounts payables duties such as processing vendor invoices, reconciling statements, and managing payments.
• Oversee payroll processing for employees across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate billing activities, including generating invoices, tracking payments, and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Reconcile financial records, bank statements, and general ledger accounts to maintain data accuracy.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and financial reporting.
• Provide support to the finance team on various accounting tasks and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in Accounts Receivable, accounts payables, payroll, and Billing.
• Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks, CDK, MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and other departments.
• Familiarity with billing processes and procedures is advantageous.
