We are looking to hire an experienced field service technician to look after the service and maintenance needs of our customers. As a field service technician, you will be required to travel to client locations, install new equipment, respond to service requests, troubleshoot equipment issues, and provide technical training on company equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
- Service electromechanical equipment like ATMs and self-checkout systems within an assigned territory.
- Perform maintenance repair and system overhauls.
- Manage everything from network faults and traffic, to configuration, security, and remote system access.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
- Provide technical support and assistance to employees in person, over the phone, or via remote access.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
- Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
- A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification, PC skills, basic electronic skills, and some specific hardware and operating system familiarity.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts and protocols (LAN/WAN).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
