Junior Quality Assurance Analyst
Information Systems R18


This position can be performed virtually in any SDPR ministry office (subject to operational requirements and space availability) locations may include but are not limited to: Campbell River, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Nanaimo, Langley, Abbotsford, Victoria, Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Nelson, Prince George, Prince Rupert, Fort St John or a geographic location where an SDPR office is located.
An eligibility list may be established.

Apply your analytical and program development skills


The Junior QA Analyst performs user acceptance testing, writes and executes UAT scripts to perform in depth testing of changes to existing systems, assists with defect management, provides business analysis services for assigned clients and projects and helps in maintaining a testing repository and documentation.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Diploma or degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field such as mathematics; and/or equivalent combination of training and/or experience
  • Experience performing quality assurance testing
  • Experience converting business requirements to test strategies, scripts and plans

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • Experience working in Employment Assistance Worker or Social Worker position
