Kinesiologist (Industrial Setting)

onTrack Occupational Therapy Services (onTrack), a division of Santé Circle Health, is currently looking for Kinesiologists with an interest in Industrial Kinesiology for immediate opportunities in Cambridge and Woodstock, Ontario.

onTrack is looking for Kinesiologists who will deliver on-site wellness services at a local auto-manufacturing company. This role is part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, which includes, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Medicine, and Orthopaedics. onTrack’s Wellness Kinesiologist will work as part of team to help employees get their health and well being back on track and proactively improve their safety, comfort, function and performance.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Promoting health and fitness in an industrial workplace;
• Conducting clinical and functional assessments related to musculoskeletal injuries and health conditions (both acute and chronic);
• Providing therapeutic exercise programs;
• Job coaching;
• Identifying ergonomic risk factors; and
• Collaborating with other healthcare team members on employee health, safety and wellness programs, education, and inquiries.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Kinesiology or equivalent;
• Registered, and in good standing, with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario;
• Clinical and functional assessment skills related to acute injury management. Experience working with repetitive strain injuries is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Managing multiple priorities and time;
• Problem solving; and
• Decision-making, based on clinical and functional assessments

Our healthcare team works rotating shifts, which corresponds with employees’ shifts, so that we can provide continuity of care and shift coverage. Our candidate must be willing to work a shift rotation of an early day shift and late evening shift.

This is a salaried, full-time, permanent position, which is not dependent upon client flow. Wages are experience-dependent and range from annual guaranteed salaries from $47,840 – $58,240, which increase with years of service.
