Kitchen Cabinets & Millwork - Cad Technician-Detailer

We are a designer and fabricator of high-end cabinetry and millwork located east of Toronto ON in Durham Region. We are looking for a person to join our team who has a strong appreciation for quality, design & production and wants to work in a team environment to carry our designs through to a finished product.

The ideal candidate must have experience in design and construction within the kitchen and millwork industry enhanced with a strong knowledge base in CNC nested based production techniques.

Responsibilities include:

- Create detailed CAD shop drawings for production using design drawings prepared by our sales team along with compiled site measurements

- Verify appliance specifications and ensure accuracy on production drawings

- Detect and correct any issues within the design that may be uncovered while preparing shop drawings

- Communicate effectively with our designers and production team on all details of the project

- Create bill of materials for each project

- Input cabinets and related project components into CNC production software

Desired skills and experience:

- Experience in the custom kitchen/bath and millwork industry is a must

- Proficient in working with CAD, (AutoCAD or similar)

- Knowledge and understanding of MS Office or similar

- Experience with eCabinets, KCD, Enroute and other CNC nesting software

- Possesses time management skills to meet deadlines

- Must be detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills

- Fluent written and verbal communication skills

- A team player

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $49,000.00-$59,000.00 per year
