Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly
- Support kitchen staff in various tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and stocking supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen utensils and equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Help with cooking and plating dishes as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
