Labourer (Mobile Maintenance)

Position Overview

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Safe and efficient shop maintenance
• Supporting the operation in preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance work processes and providing feedback to optimize reliability
• Adhering to and promoting all safety policies, procedures and systems
• Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement
• Perform daily tasks using Computer Maintenance Management Systems

Responsibilities

• Conducting shop PM’s
• Repairing or replacing defective shop equipment
• Managing battery charge station
• Pumping out service oil pits and managing oil pails for transportation
• Maintaining 75 bulk oil storage and filtration units
• Performing fuel bays inspection and repair and oil samples in shop and in field
• Coordinating material and placing orders
• Performing general housekeeping of 75 shop and shaft station

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a team player who possesses:

• A motivated and dynamic approach to getting tasks complete and pride in accomplishment
• Preference to individuals with underground maintenance experience
• Strong ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with peers
