Position Overview:
As a Landscaper at Al's Lawn and Garden , you will play a crucial role in designing, installing, and maintaining landscapes for our clients. From planting flowers and trees, installing garden edging, mulch and decorative stone, your work will contribute to creating stunning outdoor environments.

Responsibilities:

• Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation.
• Prune and shape hedges, bushes, and trees.
• Install new garden beds.
• Install garden edging, retaining walls, and paving stones.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Assist with hardscaping projects as required.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of plants, trees, and landscaping techniques.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as skid steers, sod cutters, wheelbarrows, dethatchers and blowers.
• Physically fit and able to perform tasks in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing landscapes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class G Licence (required)
