Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor

The Multi-Award Winning Quality Inn & Suites Petawawa is seeking a Part-Time Night Auditor to join our team!

You must be available for:

• Part-Time Hours: 16-29 hours a week
• Must be comfortable to work alone and at night
• Shift is: 11PM-7AM
• Shifts include weekday & weekend shifts
• Only applicants living within a 30 minute commute will be considered for this position.

Job Duties

- Create exceptional guest stays by ensuring excellence in guest experiences through customer service interactions which include over the phone and in-person

- greet guests and provide them with local area information and well as hotel information

- enroll guests in hotel loyalty program through exceptional sales skills

- help to ensure the overall success of the hotel by creating memorable guest stays for everyone who visits us by providing exceptional customer service

- be efficient, a multitasker and comfortable with a fast-paced environment centered around guest services

- assist guests by taking reservations, modifying reservations, managing guest requests and answering a multi-line switchboard

- administrative duties such as answering emails, and working with Microsoft Word and Excel

- booking meeting room reservations as well as groups blocks

- processing cash, debit and credit card payments

- setting up meeting rooms

- have a flexible schedule that allows for shift work which includes overnight shifts

- must be comfortable working alone

- light housekeeping duties such as mopping and folding towels

- running the hotel audit

- preparing guest folios and processing checkouts

- solving discrepancies in financial reports

- reconciling cash, debit and credit journals

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Previous Hotel and/or Night Audit experience preferred
• Computer skills such as working with Microsoft Office and email programs
• Possess excellent judgement and problem solving skills
• administration skills in a fast paced environment
