Job Overview:
We are seeking dependable, motivated and hardworking individual to join our team and get dirty with us as Landscape Labourers. As a Landscape Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscape maintenance and construction. This is a hands-on fast paced position that requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and locations including possibly movie and TV sets.
Responsibilities:
Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, fertilizing, spring/fall cleanups
Plant, irrigate, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
Assist with the construction of landscape features such as pathways, retaining walls, patios, gardens, driveways,
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Dig trenches for irrigation systems or other purposes
Provide assistance on septic installations
Perform general clean-up of work areas
Work with mulch, stone and sod
Qualifications:
Dependability is a requirement
Previous experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not required
Possess good verbal, comprehension and written skills
Abide by all local, provincial and federal safety policies and regulations
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively
Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in outdoor environments
Ability to work well in a team environment
Be flexible to work occasional longer hours due to weather
Be approachable and welcoming with clients
Submit daily digital timesheets

Salary: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
