Landscape Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Landscape Maintenance Division and Snow Removal Program
• Able to oversee multiple landscaping crews at various locations
• Service company’s clientele with a customer first always attitude
• Flexibility required to accommodate daily and seasonal business needs
• Ability to motivate employees and provide a positive work environment
• Orientation and training of new personnel when required
• Experience with Snow Removal Operations in a commercial setting
• Ability to handle the operation, scheduling and dispatching of employees and company equipment during all four seasons
• Ability to identify training opportunities and areas of improvement among the team
• Ensure employees adhere to company policies and procedures
• Ability to provide Landscape Maintenance quotations
• Attend meetings, and site walks with clients (as required)
• Always working in an ethical manner
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Supervisor in a Commercial Landscape Operations/Maintenance position
• Commercial Landscape Maintenance and Snow Removal knowledge for a large team is a must
• Knowledge of proper equipment maintenance protocol, submit work requests as required
• Ability to be diplomatic and skilled with negotiations to handle various situations
• G License and clean drivers abstract required
• Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy required
• Strong work ethic – reliable and punctual
• Able to assume responsibility and have a flexible team-player attitude
• Previous experience operating maintenance equipment
