Law Office Bookkeeper and Office Manager
Morrison LLP is a growing, Edmonton-based full-service Law Firm providing legal services all over Alberta. We are looking for a full time, in-house accounting/bookkeeping professional who will also be responsible for providing day-to-day office management.
Specific Responsibilities:
· Coordinate office day-to-day operations;
· Perform bookkeeping procedures such as invoice processing, monitoring accounts receivable, and tracking expenses and purchases;
· Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees;
· Coordinate the provision of office supplies and equipment maintenance;
· Assist with account reconciliation and bank reconciliation tasks
· Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data;
· Assist lawyers and other staff with miscellaneous tasks as necessary;
Requirements
· Training and experience with bookkeeping/accounting practices in a Law Firm environment, including trust accounting, preparing cheques, and conducting reconciliations;
· Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook;
· Proficiency with Quickbooks;
· Attention to detail to submit work or send communications without error;
· Must be able to work in office;
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
· Experience with Clio an asset;
Schedule
· Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
Salary
$90,000.00 - $100,000.00, depending upon experience.
