Lead Estimator - Civil

Ballina Contracting is a civil construction company based in British Columbia.

We are seeking a LeadEstimator with a background in civil construction and engineering. Position available in the Fraser Valley.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of well-rounded work experience in civil construction is required.
• An advanced understanding of civil construction controls processes and work procedures is required.
• Previous exposure to construction estimating processes and systems is preferred.
• The ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications for different project owners and specification sources.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam (or similar) software skills are required.
• The ability to work through problems independently and find solutions.
• Committed to a safe and healthy work environment, with a zero-injury culture, and carries these values into estimate development.
• Must value a respectful workplace environment where all ideas can be shared and acting with integrity, humility, and respect in all facets of work is required.

• Ability to multi-task, and work under pressure to deadlines.

• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal direction and oversight.

Details:

• Based in Chilliwack, BC
• Ability to travel to job sites as and when required in the Fraser Valley
• Valid drivers license
• Compensation commensurate on experience

The salary range for this position will be discussed during the interview stage, taking into consideration candidate qualifications and experience.
