As aLead Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Under general direction, develop and maintain customer relationships
Assist the conventional oil sales groups to ensure the needs and requirements of all customers
Responding to inquiries from field personnel and provide expert advice and assistance on the development of demulsifiers and water clarifiers for the Oil and Gas Industry.
Communicate Baker Hughes technical programs to our customers Production Optimization Groups, Production/Technical Managers and Operations personnel in Calgary and major field offices
Manage and facilitate research projects to enhance Baker Hughes strategic position in various Oil and Gas market segments

To be successful in this role you will have:
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and/or technical diploma with 3 years of relevant experience
3+ year’s demulsifier/water clarifier product selection experience.
Experience formulating new products preferred.
Technical knowledge of demulsifier and water clarifier trouble shooting and their specific applications to the customer requirements are required
Technical knowledge of all aspects relating to oil and gas production including downhole, pipelines and facilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Internet/Intranet
Proven ability to lead and influence others that are not direct reports
Desired Characteristics:
Problem solver with the ability to effectively communicate solution
Ability to travel as much as 30% of the time
Understanding of oil and gas production and transportation
Project management experience and the ability to sell solutions to both internal and external stake holders
