AddressLead Systems Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
The scope of role is process, document, and Systems chief/fellow reviews in support of a commercial engine development program.
Responsibilities:
The engine program will follow a unified organizational approach to Systems Engineering and the principles of ARP4754A or B:
• Review and provide guidance/recommendations on Systems plans:
o RMVVP
o System Development Plan
o Configuration Management Plan
o Systems Safety Plan
• Guide for ARP4754 application in a practical setting
o Guidance on levels of involvement and independent review considering practical vs compliance
• Requirements Based Engineering guidance to the RBE team within the context of the systems plans above
• Model Based Engineering guidance to the Controls and RBE teams within the context of the plans above.
• Consultation of—but, not approval of—Systems design reviews
Qualifications:
- Requires interface with Project, Design, Controls, component analysis, Chief engineering, and potentially other offices, and will require knowledge of DOORS, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), CAMEO, and/or System Modeling Language (SysML)
- Guiding a team of engineers in the execution of a major design review material within the context of owned and approved design review expectations agreement.
