The candidate will be providing specialized nursing care for home care and personal care clients, and also providing palliative nursing care and coordinating in-home respite services. About the facility: The Home & Community Care program is based out of the Jeannie Bird Clinic. This position will provide community based home care nursing services to community members and along with the 4 surrounding communities of LLRIB.
About the position: the Licensed Practical Nurse must be able to work under pressure, while performing nursing treatments and procedures as ordered by the physician such as catheterizations, catheter irrigation, injections, sterile dressings, wound care, monitoring blood pressures and blood glucose, etc. the LPN will also be responsible for evaluating client progress, updating the care plan based on on-going nursing assessments.
