Life Sciences Consulting Practice
Our Life Sciences team includes management consultants with Global expertise in Drug / Device discovery to commercialization processes. Practice specialties include preclinical discovery, clinical trials, regulatory quality and compliance, medical affairs, pharmacovigilance, manufacturing and supply chain, pharma sales and marketing. We’re a partner who’s there for our client’s transformation journey – from strategy and delivery to achieving business outcomes. Our clients include many of the Global Life Sciences companies. 
We are currently seeking an experienced Industry Consultant to join our Life Sciences Consulting practice.  This position can be in any of the following locations: US or Canada, Remote.  As a Sr. Manager you will have access to building incredible opportunities with our clients. You will work collaboratively as part of a client-facing team to deliver value to our clients and help them meet their business objectives. The NTT Data Global presence will allow opportunities across a variety of clients and, possibly, countries! You will regularly interact with and learn from our industry experts and more experienced team members in driving business solutions and outcomes to help our client achieve their digital, data and transformational goals.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will contribute to the growth of the practice in a variety of ways including client contributions and internal practice contributions:
-Build and maintain professional relationship with senior client executives and expand professional network in client organizations
-Project / Program management of large and complex client engagements
-Adapt existing processes and procedures to create alternative solutions to complex problems
-Assess the value of business and/or technology trends and identify opportunities for incorporating these into the client’s business and/or IT solutions
-Drives the operational processes and services in support of knowledge management objectives to continuously improve program services and increase value delivered to clients
-Regularly serves as a pre- sales support specialist through the development of materials and by presenting complex solutions to prospective clients as a subject matter expert 
-Working on projects that will leverage your expertise in Life Sciences and management consulting
-Assist in breaking down complex business problems, developing solutions and delivering with high degree of focus on client satisfaction
-With limited guidance, conduct market research, develop a point-of-view, and communicate effectively back to clients and stakeholders
-Bring innovative thinking, resourcefulness, and agility achieved by leveraging best practices and creativity to get things done
-Establish relationships with our clients at the appropriate levels, gain understanding of the project work and problems encountered
-Actively participate in defining the portfolio of projects within the Life Sciences consulting practice
-Create/identify growth opportunities within existing and new clients using visionary industry knowledge, intellectual capital, background in potential problem areas, knowledge of upcoming regulatory or market changes to create engagement opportunities
-Work with teams to prepare proposals and program plans, facilitate differentiators (e.g. specific consulting frameworks, intellectual property etc.), articulate value proposition, review and fine tune the financials, and participate in proposal presentations in order to create a compelling proposition for the client to engage NTT Data
 
Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of consulting experience in the Life Sciences Industry
-3 years of Big 4 or equivalent management consulting experience in the Life Sciences Industry
-3 years Client Project/Engagement Management experience
-3 years experience new business development
-Experience in one or more of these areas – Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Digital Health 
-Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
-Able to travel up to 40%
 
Preferred Qualifications:
-3 years of managerial experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience with an industry or service offering focus
-Variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience; experience managing large multi-location consulting engagement teams is desirable
-Ability to influence stakeholders and create rapport through effective and succinct written and verbal communication
