We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team at Le MEZ BCVC. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation, cooking, and ensuring food safety in our busy restaurant kitchen.
```Duties:```
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to recipes and portion sizes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food throughout the preparation process
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
```Experience:```
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
