What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a lawyer with a minimum of  five to seven years of litigation experience to join our expanding team. As a valued member of our firm, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of civil litigation matters and provide exceptional legal representation to our clients.
Requirements:
Knowledge & Skills:
- Comfortable in the courtroom and experienced in various litigation proceedings
- Proficient in examinations for discovery, mediation, arbitration, trial, appeals, and settlement procedures
- Ability to deliver high-quality work and provide innovative legal solutions
- Strong drafting and analytical skills with the capacity to tackle complex issues
- Effective management of processes from inception to resolution
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities with a focus on minimizing risk exposure
- Ability to provide clear and concise legal opinions and arguments
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Strong client and practice management abilities
- Team-player mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Dedication to client service and professionalism
- Demonstrated initiative in legal practice
Minimum Qualifications:
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Minimum of five years of litigation experience
Assets:
- Background and/or experience in construction litigation
- Existing book of business (not required but considered an asset)
- Bilingualism (not required but considered an asset)
Salary Range: $120,000 to $150,000 annually
