Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Arranges transportation and forwarding services for all orders to ensure product is delivered to meet delivery/installation schedule.
• Responsible for all duty customs sales and tax functions, including certification and verification, and compliance with governmental agencies.
• Verifies all freight invoices and will investigate and handle all freight related complaints and damages.
• Ensure all shipping documentation including loading, packing lists and pictures of load are attached.
• Completes all BOL’s and shipping documents to ensure all documentation including loading, packing lists and pictures of load are provided.
• Negotiates freight rates and determines freight companies – land and ocean.
• Approves all freight invoices according to quotes and planned transactions.
• Maintain a current knowledge of duty of customs sales and tax functions, including certification and verification and compliance with governmental agencies.

Qualifications

A combination of education and experience will be considered.

• 1-3 years’ experience in a logistics role.
• Cross Border requirement and overseas shipping regulations
• Knowledge of CT-PAT and Partners in Protection regulations
• Good communication skills,
• Organized
• Attention to detail.
• Customer Focus
• Logistics and Supply Chain Management Certification would be an asset
