Logistics’ Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator in the Health Care industry. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective movement of supplies and equipment within our facility. You will work closely with various departments to coordinate the logistics of supplies, equipment, and materials. You will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and ensuring that all necessary items are available when needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:
- Managing employees ensuring efficient work flow
- Picking orders and accurately shipping to customers
- Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Scheduling pick-ups via courier
- Inspection of product to ensure it is packed/packaged appropriately
- Checking for, and pulling expired products monthly and disposing them based on company policies and procedures
- Achieve high levels of customer shipment
- Managing and maintaining all paperwork or documentation needed for reporting or tracking
- Maintains a safe and clean work area by complying with all rules, regulations, and procedures
- Following established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, carrying, etc.
Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management
· Previous experience in coordinator role supporting business operations
· Have knowledge in supply chain management
· Able to handle fast-pace environment
· Must be able to lift 20 lbs+
· Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
· Excellent time management skills
· Ability to create and update detailed records and spreadsheets
· Proficient computer and data entry skills
