What you’ll do
It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

-Liaison between Service Providers (Carriers, 3PL's) and TJXC key partners (Distribution Services, Store Operations, Loss Prevention, Planning/Allocation, Finance)
-Manage project initiatives with structure methodology, maintaining project plans, determining project specifications/selection criteria and using reporting systems
-Focus on designing and leading the creation of reports and dashboards that are effective for all-levels of management from operational to executive levels
-Provide solutions/strategies to improve service provider performance
-Mentors and coaches team on relationship management and business acumen; a resource to answer questions and discuss best practices

What you’ll need
To begin your career with us, we require the following:

-5 to 10 years progressive experience transportation and or logistics; strong understanding of transportation and distribution services
-Excellent demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills including interviewing, negotiating, listening, conflict management, information gathering and coaching; with ability to influence business partners to help prioritize activities and resources to meet the organization needs, build rapport and credibility to be a trusted advisor
-Excellent problem solving skills including analysis of information (i.e. identifying requirements; describing of problems.); develop recommendations with cost implications to effectively resolve issues and implement solutions in fast paced changing environment
-Solid project management skills including structured project methodology (i.e. determining needs, researching existing programs, etc.); preparing and maintaining detailed development plans for projects; determining project specifications; understanding and applying principles of project control to launch and manage new initiatives and innovations
-Strong people management skills including coaching, providing advice and guidance to Associates in the resolution of problems; evaluating performance and providing feedback to team members
