Description:
- Responsible for daily management of end-to-end processes related to order processing, inventory returns/adjustments, invoicing, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Create and receive orders and returns.
- Oversee order fulfillment and returns processing.
- Ensure automatic uploads of orders are correct.
- Utilize our transportation management system to track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Enter corrections for shipping errors and relay to drivers.
- Customer setup and maintenance, product/SKU maintenance, purchase order and invoice management and reconciliation, inventory adjustment, and proof of delivery (POD) tracking.
- Prepare and verify statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, and garnishments.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate with team pricing and terms.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure stock availability.
Skills:
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret logistics data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in shipping, receiving, and inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of transportation management systems to track shipments and optimize routes.
- Familiarity with logistics processes, including order fulfillment and returns processing.
- Experience in sourcing suppliers and negotiating pricing and terms.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control best practices.
Requirements
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in a related role in a warehouse/distribution environment.
- Exceptional ability to interact with clients in a professional, prompt, courteous and effective manner.
- Computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office programs; experience working with order management or warehouse software would be an asset.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; able to write and format correspondence.
- Time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
