Liquid Feeds Inc (LFI) is a small family-owned business operating in Southern Ontario. Our focus is on enhancing ruminant health and nutrition through the supplementation of sugars found in molasses and whey, along with soluble proteins. We offer products and services designed for dairy, beef, sheep and goats. We have re-focused and re-tooled our products and services to meet the needs of producers and are extremely excited to share our knowledge, products and services with producers in Ontario.

We are very team oriented with a flexible and collaborative approach. We are looking for someone who can work well with others, is organized and able to juggle a variety of responsibilities. Below are the highlights of what the position entails.

Responsibilities:

Blending batches of feed for customers

Tracking inventory ingredient flow

Assist with customer installations

Assemble equipment on company premises

Deal with suppliers on orders / re-orders of inventoried parts

On farm product delivery

Qualifications and Job Characteristics:

Some understanding of farm bio-security and knowledge of farm animals

Basic knowledge of Excel

Highly competent at driving pick-up truck & trailer combo

Forklift experience

DZ license

Plant & fleet maintenance and e-logs

Versatile, energetic, mechanically oriented

Physical work

High School diploma required / Post-Secondary preferred

Hours of work are typically 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mon – Fri, occasional overtime
