Our Logistics Warehouse Material team is looking for a Lead Hand. If you know your way around a warehouse, are mechanically inclined and can be trusted to operate power tools, and enjoy the responsibilities of leading a team, this could be your next great career move.
As our Lead Hand, you will focus your time and talents on:
- QUALITY: Champion quality control by performing audits, inspections, and addressing any misses so we don’t make the same mistake twice, and have 100% confidence in incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments..
- PACKAGING, SHIPPING, RECEIVING: Picking parts, assembling items, and preparing orders for shipping, all while staying safe (we’re committed to our Safety Days as a key performance indicator for our entire company) and abiding by proper inventory management practices
- LEADERSHIP: You’re the kind of pro who literally and figuratively, leads by example. You care about the details. You don’t take short cuts. You connect with your colleagues and know that helping others succeed is the best way to see the company succeed.
If you are a calm and confident communicator, have higher-than-average attention to detail, and ideally, can operate a fork lift, we’d like to hear from you. We need a true team player, someone who will never utter, “That’s not my job.” and instead, wonders, “How can I help make this better?” and takes action.
