Logistics/Inventory Coordinator - CF

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
Technical / Function-Specific:

• Logistics
• Responsible for all inbound and outgoing materials, including shipping schedule and ensuring all corresponding documentation is true, correct, and available to all.
• Responsible for receiving products from suppliers, supervising/unloading trucks at the loading docks. Operate a Forklift when required.
• Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
• Track all incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries, and report status updates.
• Inventory
• Responsible for inventory, receiving, consumed and valuations.
• Update the inventory module in M1 ERP software as products are received and added to our inventory or released from inventory to shop.
• Data entry within the warehouse inventory management system (M1)
• Physical inventory counts and labeling.
• Prepare monthly reports for inventory valuation.
• Purchasing
• Responsible for purchasing of materials as required.
• Inventory planning and requisition.
• Responsible for ensuring materials and services are completed prior to signing off for accounting to process payments.
• Others
• Prepare reports and documentation.
• Send daily shipping and receiving reports.
• Scanning of all PS & tag IDs, sending it to accounting team.
• Send monthly and quarterly inventory reports.
• keeping track of items including extrusions as well as non-project stock items.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY OPERATE IN THE ROLE
Education:

• Job related education is an asset.

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (Logistics, Shipping, or Inventory) is a must.
• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2-3 years of experience in purchasing or accounting is an asset.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTE THE ABOVE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Excellent attention to details, organization, time management, and communication skills.
• Strong computer knowledge in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc).
• Experience with a computerized inventory system.
