Technical / Function-Specific:
- Logistics
- Responsible for all inbound and outgoing materials, including shipping schedule and ensuring all corresponding documentation is true, correct, and available to all.
- Responsible for receiving products from suppliers, supervising/unloading trucks at the loading docks. Operate a Forklift when required.
- Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
- Track all incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries, and report status updates.
- Inventory
- Responsible for inventory, receiving, consumed and valuations.
- Update the inventory module in M1 ERP software as products are received and added to our inventory or released from inventory to shop.
- Data entry within the warehouse inventory management system (M1)
- Physical inventory counts and labeling.
- Prepare monthly reports for inventory valuation.
- Purchasing
- Responsible for purchasing of materials as required.
- Inventory planning and requisition.
- Responsible for ensuring materials and services are completed prior to signing off for accounting to process payments.
- Others
- Prepare reports and documentation.
- Send daily shipping and receiving reports.
- Scanning of all PS & tag IDs, sending it to accounting team.
- Send monthly and quarterly inventory reports.
- keeping track of items including extrusions as well as non-project stock items.
Education:
- Job related education is an asset.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (Logistics, Shipping, or Inventory) is a must.
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2-3 years of experience in purchasing or accounting is an asset.
- Excellent attention to details, organization, time management, and communication skills.
- Strong computer knowledge in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc).
- Experience with a computerized inventory system.
