SalaryA.W.G. Northern Distribution, a major distributor of glass products throughout Northam B.C. and Alberta requires a Long HaulClass 1Truck Driver with Clean Abstract. Meal allowance provided.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license and a clean driver's abstract
- Provide excellent customer service, load, and unload on deliveries and pick-ups
- Complete pre and post trip inspections, and follow commercial driving regulations
- Safe and efficient movement of trailers in and out of dock doors, within and between facility buildings
- Daily inspection of truck; Monitor truck condition and communicate with the manager when repairs are required
- High level of personal integrity and strong work ethic
- Professional demeanor under stressful situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Assist in loading and unloading the shipments
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and Assist in Unloading Overweighed units.
- Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Over Nights Stay and availability

Salary: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
