What you’ll do
It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:
-Conducting internal investigations and detection of internal theft, thereby reducing shrink for the company
-Maintain accurate, concise case files and information pertaining to those cases, testifying in court
-Conduct interviews using company approved techniques, apprehend Associates who commit theft and fraudulent transactions
-Develop and maintain strong working partnerships with Store Management, peers, law enforcement agencies, banking institutions, etc.
-Conduct thorough, impartial, ethical investigations with appropriate urgency and diligence.
-Maintain appropriate professionalism, integrity and confidentiality to enhance department image and complying with company rules, regulations and Code of Conduct
What you’ll need
To begin your career with us, we require the following:
-Minimum 3 years of proven success with Internal Investigations in a retail environment or equivalent experience. Experience as LP Internal Investigator or LP Manager preferred
-In Quebec and Ontario, Internal Investigators must have an investigations license for this role
-Good knowledge of all aspects of retail Loss Prevention, operations and processes
-Strong investigative and analytical skills, sense or initiative urgency and priority and observation skills are a must
-Experience with current CCTV technologies including installation of covert CCTV equipment
-Strong interviewing skills. Training and experience in Interviewing/Interrogation skills preferred
-Strong communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and making public presentations
-Must have valid drivers license and access to vehicle
