Elmwood is currently seeking a Sanding Line Operator with expertise in the cabinetry industry to join our team.

A PIVOTAL ROLE ON A LARGE TEAM.

The successful candidate will contribute to the success of the company by assuming the following responsibilities:

• Operate Sanding machine to sand materials according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Handle/load all materials and components in a diligent manner
• Inspect and verify material against customer order, record/report shortages and reject damaged material and products
• Achieve daily production targets
• Maintain equipment and ensures work area is clean and safe at all times
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on Sanding Line equipment
• Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures
• Support other functions as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE.

• Must have 3-5 years Sanding Line experience
• Experience operating IMA, Biesse, Homag
• Experience setting up, operating, and maintaining machines
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Salary: $21.00-$29.00 per hour
