AROW Global LTD. Winnipeg, MB is currently looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our OEM/DPS department in the Grinding Booth. If you are familiar with working with your hands and using a grinder to perform precision smoothing, sharpening, polishing, or grinding of metal objects, this opportunity may be the career you are looking for!

- Evenings 4:00 pm to 12:30 am- Starting Wage: $16.90/hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Working with your hands, lifting, and moving large pieces of metal, and standing for hours at a time, requiring physical strength and stamina
- To perform precision smoothing, sharpening, polishing, or grinding of metal objects to fit blueprints, drawings, and breakdown specifications
- Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations
- Wear all necessary PPE required (PAPR and respirators are required and provided for this position)
- Working in a team environment where everyone works together to complete orders on time
- The ability to use precision measurement instruments
- Understanding the importance of producing quality products
- The ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- The ability to read/interpret drawings/ and breakdowns
Skills, Qualifications, and Physical Requirements
- Previous experience in a Manufacturing Company is considered an asset
- Strong ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals
- The ability to lift to 50 lbs. continuously when required
