Machine Operator

Job Summary

The Machine operator ensures that all parts required for cabinet assembly are cut correctly on the CNC machine and then labelled. They ensure that all parts that require edgetape are properly taped.

Core Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Cutting parts on CNC machine
• Applying the correct edgetape to the correct cabinet parts
• Managing of rework in a timely manner
• Prioritizing order of cutting and taping parts based on shipping schedule and assembly requirements
• Tracking sheet count cut per day on CNC. Tracking linear feet of edgetape applied each day and the type of edgetape used

• Ability to multi-task and move efficiently between different responsibilities
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and well organized
• Knowledge of current labour and safety standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.50-$25.00 per hour
