Machine Operator

Duties:
- Set up and operate slitting machine to ensure quality standards are met
- Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic or compound through a nozzle
or die
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
- Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as necessary
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

-Operate forklift

-Calculate weight, distance,volume and length measurements

-Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work
assignments

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role an asset
- Familiarity with data entry
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret work orders
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
