Machine Shop Hand/Assistant

Machine Shop Hand/Assistantrequired to join our busy team in Nisku / Leduc.

Castle Engineering specializes in design and production of small batch, unique components for the valve automation industry.

Duties will include: -

· Preparing materials for machine operators.

· Operating CNC saw.

· Cleaning of components, deburring, grinding etc.

· Maintaining stock levels.

· Shipping and receiving.

· QC machined parts against technical drawings.

· Powder coating components.

· Preparing components for shipping.

· Driving fork truck / loading and unloading materials.

· Maintenance and cleaning of workspaces and machines.

• Full class 5 driver's license.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.

The candidate will have the opportunity to be trained to operate semi-automatic welding equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
