JOB DESCRIPTION
If you enjoy working both indoors & outdoors, thrive on a variety of responsibilities and value your statutory holidays and evening hours, then the maintenance position is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the appearance of the property is customer-ready by cleaning units, sweeping, mopping, removing debris, wiping windows, cleaning bathrooms etc., ultimately ensure the property is safe and welcoming.
- Painting hallways and the outside of the buildings.
- Light construction knowledge is an asset but not required.
- Assist with weather related maintenance activities to ensure client and team safety. (snow removal, salt for ice)
- Investigate maintenance issues. (damage to lockers, building, gate and fence)
- Perform minor repair to building as needed (locker doors, walls, handles, etc)
- Assist in landscaping.
- Work independently or with others.
- Conduct a daily physical storage unit inspection confirming inventory availability and ensuring each unit is secure or ready to rent.
- Work closely with your supervisor to receive training and coaching when needed, striving to exceed all company expectations.

Qualifications
Successful candidates come from a variety of maintenance related positions: groundskeeper, custodial, etc.
- Energetic, outgoing, customer-oriented personality
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem resolution skills
- Enjoys and easily operates independently or as part of a small team
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver's license with access to reliable transportation used during the work day
- Can work any day of the week, including weekends
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
